He was talking about how Obama is leading in this area that went for Bush in '04, then went for Obama in '08...and Obama is leading there now. "So that's good" he slipped up and said.

THEN when he realized his slip up, he tried to change the subject, and stuttered.

Which is right. He's a numbers guy and is supposed to just be reporting and not expressing opinion.
