Not because President Obama isn't going to win either. He is going to win by plenty.
I love politics. Especially presidential politics. I thrive on it. I am going to miss it real bad. Think it is in my blood.
Anyone else?

(15,596 posts)I'm at my worst in some ways when I'm wired into
politics. It brings out the vilest feelings toward "the
others." I get intolerant. In 2008 I completely unplugged
almost immediately after Obama won. I suspect I'll do the
same this time. It's fun but gets toxic.

(1,301 posts)When President Obama wins we are going to have a really exciting four
years..The most progressive we have had in decades,I think! He has
the groundwork in place for his second term..the people who oppose him
want to be re-elected and he is ready to hold their feet to the fire!
ive had to up my medications

(11,304 posts)weekends. I need to depress from it all. I tuned in to the movie channels. I actually watch the Hallmark channel. They started christmas movies already. It's getting me in the mood and I feel happy. Today my 6 yr old granddaughter was over and we talked about the menu for thanksgiving. She helps me. I love it.

(32,731 posts)that I've been able to vote in. So far my choice has won one time. Based on the polls, my choice will win again tomorrow, which will give me a success rate of 50%. If not, then my choices would have lost 75% of the time since I've been voting.
So no, I don't like presidential elections because they've brought me a lot of pain, frustration with my fellow Americans, and disappointment (with the exception of 2008).
