(25,699 posts)I wish them many more long, prosperous years, and look forward to watching those little fucking termites bring the GOP house crashing down around their own ears. Nobody has done as much to undermine the sad, silly notions of "conservativism" in this country than these True Believers.
After all, you can't point at a tea partier and dismiss them as "not a true conservative" like the GOP loved to do with their own who went a little bugnuts now and then in years past. The tea party is the pure, distilled essence of American conservativism, and they are dominating the GOP... to the visible and immediate detriment not just to that party but to the ideology itself.
So, I wish them well, and long, persistent careers within the party, but outside the halls of government.
