Survey USA Ohio — Men are moving to Obama in the final weekend

Raw numbers mean little to me today. I want to see direction.

No poll is perfect, but two instances of the same poll with the same methodolgy can pick up trend. Apples to apples. For instance, with Gallup I don't care that they have Romney up one. I care that a week ago they had Romney up five. Whatever the "real" number, Romney is going in the wrong direction.

Ohio in Survey USA polling, versus last week. Obama up one. Romney down one. 3 point lead becomes 5 points.

In 5 tracking polls, Obama has never trailed; today’s poll is the first time Obama has polled as high as 49%. Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll one week ago, Obama is up 1 point, Romney is down 1 point. Obama had led by 3, now leads, at the wire, by 5. Men are moving to Obama on the final weekend. 6 out of 7 Ohio voters has been personally contacted by one or both presidential campaigns.
