Welcome To The Fragmented States Of America

This election will most likely turn out to be the most hateful election we have ever had. The GOP is pushing for permanent complete division with the "us or them" mentality. They seem determined to continue their battle indefinitely. The election will not change many minds and hearts and I feel that the divisions will deepen even more.

The RW has hated anything that it does not want for over 100 years. The progeny of the same robber barons are just as adamant today as they were when Teddy Roosevelt was president. All they want is a servant class to do their bidding. It all started with Reagan and it continues unabated.

Until and when we completely defeat and eliminate these dark forces we will face the same election cycle every two years. Based on the chatter I hear from GOPPERS they will never give up or let anyone live in peace until they get it all their way. So I do not see how we will ever get things done.

The fundy churches are so radical now that one can question if they are even legitimate churches. It feel more like a cold civil war to me in so many ways. The forces in the GOP favor the fundy church's desire to inflict theocracy on the country. They hate diversity even in the area of religion. The ideological churches are turning out to be a greater danger to the country than the terrorists.

1. I'm not sure it's the most hateful ever - as you say, they've been angry for 100 years. Especially

in the past 30+ - since Reagan got in - they've become nuttier, further to the right, more divisive, more arrogant. I'm no Eisenhower expert, but from what little I've read, he was practically a flaming liberal compared to a lot of them today. Bush Senior, and probably Ford (but I don't know much about him), I think were far different from the Repubs of the last 20 years.

3. The "South Will Rise Again" GOP mentality is useless now. We're too integrated.

They just don't comprehend that. The economics of the late 19th century don't apply to our current state of affairs. I'm in a mostly red zone. What am I supposed to do, shoot my neighbors? Most of the deeply Republican neighbors I have are good friends (except for two overt racists).

Yes, we're divided, but not by geographic boundaries anymore. The GOP knows it's going to take a major hit this time around, and rMoney is the main reason. Tacking on rLyan didn't help.

Tagg can forget his political aspirations. He's an angry sex-deprived asshole just like his dad. They're pure evil. The rMoney name will always be stained, just like the shrub's daemon spawn. The only way rMoney will "win" tomorrow is if they sufficiently rigged the machines. If that happens, my 9/11 flag (tattered and thread bare) will be flying at half mast - upside down.

Don't expect the country to survive in that case. rMoney isn't a patriot.
