we MIGHT have 1 a month. And since we're talking averages here, that means some people are eating MORE than 3 a week. Yuck!

But I know that I often go weeks and sometimes months between burgers. I don't trust fast food restaurants, and I've been too lazy to cook them. Also, the stories about pink slime have really slowed down my burger intake.

Haven't touched a fast-food burger or even purchased ground beef since.

Of course, I actually don't LIKE hamburgers, so no big deal. I just throw a steak on the barbie instead.

I eat about a hamburger a month and only then if I get a good sirloin burger. I live up the road from a burger joint that's voted "Best" in my city for 20 + years straight, so when I do get that craving, I go there.

Honestly, I probably average 10-12 burgers a year.

That many hamburgers plus all the various GB-containing foods is even more disturbing.

I doubt I eat 20 hamburgers or ground beef products a year--especially since so many outlets add nasty filler to their meat (Taco Bell comes particularly to mind).

I do make chili and the occasional spaghetti sauce containing ground beef, but certainly not approaching 150 hamburgers/year.

I hardly ever eat them. A guy I used to work with would go to McDonald's for lunch every single day. We had a fairly decent cafeteria but he'd get a hamburger and fries at McDonald's. Every day.

As far as I know he's still alive...

McDonalds has a 95 cent plain meat and bread also known as a 'doggy burger'.

I'm really way low on those (ever since Oscar Mayer changed their recipe). If we have either of those now, it's a homemade one or the lesser of whatever evil exists on a menu at an amusement park, zoo, etc.

I always thought I was ordering the most healthy things on the menu, but food you get at restaurants (and obviously fast food) is laden with all sorts of fatty crap you wouldn't expect.

I might have one store bought burger a Month! (because most of them taste like donkey butt) and that burger is usually A&W teenburger which is awesome, or used to be, they even taste kind of lame lately.

I make my own most of the time. Lean ground with texas toasted home made bread. Waaaay better than fast food stuff.
