I can't make out what the last toon represents.

I can make out a rough outline of the US but are those eyes along the southern border, legs bent at the knees, the horn section of some Big Band, etc...?

Also, what do the round white cylinders represent?

The tops of filter cigarettes, cotton balls, pillows (making me sleepy), are they knitted (see along the Atlantic coast), etc...?

I enjoy Mr. Fish's toons but this one?

BTW, I am viewing this on a 7 year old CRT.

Could this be the problem?

Even so, WTF does this toon represent?

Inquiring minds want to know.
