In 2010 the crazy NH House (there are 400 members) went from 216 (D), 174 (R) to 102 (D) to 298 (R). It now stands at 104 to 290.
The repukes have over 73% of the House. The Speaker is a little fascist pig named Bill O'Brien. The Senate shifted in the same way in 2010 and is currently even more repub than the House. The leader there, Peter Bragdon is another wingnut.
The candidate for governor for the rethugs is a complete bagger named Ovide Lamontagne, and from what I'm hearing that race is close.
Will New Hampshire voters reject the republican control and nuttiness of the next two years? I hope so, but I'm not holding my breath. It's a weird, weird state.

(12,509 posts)yet they have no problem crossing our border by the thousands every day to make their paycheck in the Bay State, and bringing the money home. As far as I'm concerned, those teabilly hicks should quit their Massachusetts jobs and stay the f*ck out of my state. We don't need them or want them.
And when they go south for the winter, they can drive west to and through New York, and stop wearing out our roadways since they don't like to pay taxes for road upkeep.

(12,509 posts)and I have never heard Vermonters complain about Mass.
But after 6+ decades as a Bostonian, I have had it up to here (my eyeballs) with the criticism of the state of Mass. and it's residents from the "we don't like to pay any taxes New Hampshirites" who for decades have enjoyed making their salary over our border and continuously complain about my state and the state taxes they pay on their wages. It gets really old after all these years.
