He voted for Obama last time, but I had had my doubts all this year about what he would do. My uncle can be annoyingly conservative on anything that has to do with money. Ever since I was kid, he has also made statements about black people that are not, shall we say, progressive.
His reasons are that he felt Romney was too vague and unspecific about his ideas, that his numbers don't add up and he flip flops.
He's in a solid blue state, but maybe it is evidence that Romney's flip floppery is a problem. My uncle's vote should have been in play for Romney, but he blew it.

(22 posts)That he could find a satisfactory slice of his ideals in either candidate is a victory in itself. Now let's hope he doesn't run into too much trouble when he goes to cast his ballot. Seems to be a trend arising...

(1,209 posts)The people I run across that supported Obama last time, still support him this time. And the ones that didn't, still don't. I'm not seeing a lot of flexibility with voters this cycle. This used to be a neighborhood with a lot of "moderates". There still are some, but dwindling every election.

(9 posts)That's good news. I've got the whole family lined up, and might even be able to sway the dog and cat to cast a vote for O.
Vote early, and vote often!
