Ours here in the Town Of Sheboygan uses a simple but effective method.
There are arrows pointing to the candidates, and they look like this:

To vote, the voter fills in the gap.

Better to vote for each individual Democrat. Makes it more difficult for cheaters to flip your vote.

Even voted against Tom Petri, he's sided just once too often with the Teabaggers.
