Want a good wholesome laugh? Listen to this quote of Bill Maher just now:

"Obama has gotten praise from the right and the left for his handling of the crisis of the storm. On Fox news Pat Buchanan reluctantly put forth: "You're doing a heck of a job, Brownie".


Now why didn't I think of saying that? It's so perfect.

about the loss of white America and for some statements he made. It's funny because it's not far off from something Buchanan would really say.

isn't there such a thing as something being so ridiculous that it transcends a basic stance?

One of the many bumperstickers I have had (I make them, and I change them often) is: "Please do not assume I share your prejudices". I live in a red state. I lost a major client because I responded (to all) to a racist email comment he made about President Obama's inauguration, which I attended on that icy day on the mall, and I took my grandson along on the red eye bus to Washington- but I have to be able to laugh at something so out of left field and that to me is so hilariously appropriate.
