Like you, I am a heterosexual white male with a good job. I, too, enjoy the privilege of being able to abstract away the differences between the two parties, because neither will ever attack me*. But not all people I care about have that luxury.
* not entirely true since I'm a veteran, and the GOP does shit on us. But it's more dramatic I think to just leave that out.

And it really reduced my tolerance for this whole argument. I'm unbelievably lucky to be in a place where Romney and Obama are largely similar to me.
