How do you plan to spend Tuesday night?

Me? I'm going to be sure I have on comfy clothes .....probably pjs. Relaxing in my recliner. TV on MSNBC, unless they annoy me. Snacks. I'm still deciding what to have but it will probably be a mix of salty/sweet. Oh, and something alcoholic and bubbly to drink! I am anticipating a BIG REASON to have a toast when the returns start coming in and Obama's numbers go up, up and up!

I'm so tired of the campaign and figure we all owe it to ourselves to have a great night when we celebrate the re-election of Barack Obama!!

Lots of things looking good. Nate Silver, Sam Wang, and lots of polls. I still worry about them stealing the election, but am holding on to hope for a good night.

Don't bite your nails to the quick! It hurts too much the next day. Try chewing on a pencil.

As for the booze, guess it can't hurt if things don't go our way. But we'll need a whole lot more AFTER the election if that happens.

Fox should make for some comic relief from the tension of waiting for the polls to close on the west coast!! I can't stand it for more than a minute or two at a time, but that ought to be enough to break the tension and make it easier to go back to the real world.

A friend of a friend is a conservative who is having an election night party. I am sure he and his guests think they are in for a good night.

Our mutual friend is a liberal and feels that since he is invited he should make an appearance and does not want to go alone.

I don't think it is a good idea but I might get talked into it.

I won't go to bed until the Romney concession speech. I really can't wait to see him dazed, confused, stuttering and stammering as it slowly dawns on him that he's in fact NOT the prophesied chosen one.

Also gonna watch closely for vote tallies flipping, nd I will take to the streets in protest if this election is stolen.

I have plans to Skype with my niece who is in Cary, NC. Also with a friend who lives in Greensboro, NC. It should be a great night!

On election night 2008, my niece was in South Africa on business and couldn't get a good internet connection to find out what was happening. She called me on her cell phone about 10 p.m., as I recall. I was telling her that things for Obama were looking really good and not so good for McCain/Palin. In the middle of our conversation, they called it for Obama/Biden. I screamed into the phone what had happened and we started laughing, crying and cheering & jumping up and down. I will never forget that moment when we were connected by sheer joy even though we were thousands of miles apart. I hope we can share the same celebratory moment this time!! Skype is a wonderful technology, eh? This time we'll be able to see each other when we cheer, cry and laugh!!
