Our President steps up again.

President Obama is on top of the Sandy disaster in Staten Island..

Not to interject politics into this disaster, but our President is working with people (ReThugs) who think nothing of criticizing him (or worse). I am optomistic that when he is re-elected on Tuesday, his second term will be amazing and the "sane" Republicans will have an epiphany of sorts.

That is my hope, too. They are out there. I have never considered Chris Christie sane, but I am impressed by his response to Sandy. My hope is that more open minds will come out of the woodwork and John Boehner will be reformed and will tell tea party activists to go to hell so that they can get something done. He has enough votes to cooperate with a slightly palatable agenda (to me) without them.
- Assuming they keep the house. I think it may be about time some of the more sensible Rs will begin to see that that 2010 election was not as successful as they hoped it would be.
