Racist bumper sticker in Louisville today ...

Had the Obama logo with an upside-down American flag in the middle, and these words:

"HELP ME, MR. OBAMA! THEY WANT ME TO WORK AND STUFF!"

And you KNOW what he meant by that. I wanted to run the guy off the road, but instead just flipped him the middle finger.

4. Except in Louisville Kentucky if you ask that guy "Who doesn't want to work?"

I know exactly who he will think of first.

Just like when the idiot Reagan referred to welfare queens, the racist Repuke base knew who he meant.

6. Wrong. He's talking about welfare recipients.

And I guarantee that redneck doesn't think there are white folks on welfare ...

Did I mention that the bumper sticker was on the back of a beat-up pickup truck? Yeah, it was. With a confederate flag decal on the back.

You know what he meant.

I believe the One Percenters need "to work and stuff."

8. I usually refrain from flipping people off on the road, for that very reason

But this one just really got to me. Had he chased me, he'd have been in for a rude surprise ... that's all I'm gonna say about it.

9. It's a stupid characterization of a supposed Obama voter. But to say it is racist assumes

that the person speaking is black. THAT assumption, to me, is racist.

The driver of the pickup truck was a redneck -- did I mention the Confederate flag on the back? Yeah, I did.

I can tell you EXACTLY and without hesitation what HE meant by the bumper sticker. And that makes ME a racist??? Wow. You're good.

16. Your OP does not mention that he is a redneck nor does it mention the Confederate flag.

Only that you assumed the bumper sticker quote was in the voice of a black person.

I get how you can get from point A to point B, but it isn't bright-line racism by the standards of this campaign.

14. No, it's not as blatantly racist as, say, the "Don't Re-N*g" sticker that I've seen!

The driver wasn't wearing a hooded robe. Is that what it takes these days to be considered racist?

Wow. Things have sure changed around here.
