... and although it's relatively early in the thread's life: nary a dissenting voice, much less any infamous "zots" by RimJob and his minions.

...he said, "Oh my God, I was just on Free Republic, those people are practically delusional. You were right. They are going to be shocked on Tuesday night."
I had been telling my husband that those on FR actually believe that Romney is going to win in a landslide. My concern was that those on FR were being fed Republican-slanted polls and information that completely hid reality from them. I look at all polls. I'm crazy for data and I look at everything. Fox News and FR has absolutely nothing about most of the critical state polls that show Obama winning by substantial margins.
FR and Fox cherry pick polling info. For one thing--the are all about the national polls. At this point, those polls mean NOTHING. It's the state polls in those key swing states (OH, PA, FL, VA, WI, MI, CO, NV, IA, NH, NC) that will decide this thing. I watched a Glenn Beck video. He did a swing-state analysis. He totally ignored most of the state polls and included Rasmussen only. Plus, he had Indiana as a swing state. LOL!
They also cherry pick deeper polling data that favors Romney, which does not tell the whole story. Right now, they're focusing on Romney being ahead with Independents. It's just silly. Look at Iowa. Obama is ahead by 5 points, in the past two polls. The aggregate of the last few polls shows a +4 lead for Obama. YES, Obama is behind with Independents, but he is leading the entire state in the likely-voter measure--the one that counts.
FR and Fox do not look at polls that combine and average all polls. They pick one poll they like. And then they put blinders on.
I'm concerned at the level of shock and dismay these people will have when Romney loses. I understand that the Republicans and Rove have to prop up enthusiasm. It's essential for getting that base to the polls. However, by totally bamboozling these people, they are not doing them any favors.

Make no mistake, when Romney said that he'd have a better chance of being elected if his parents were Mexican, it's because large swaths of these people actually believe that shit.

(3,333 posts)Those complete out of their skull morons are trying to say that somewhere between 3,881,751 and 6,469,586 votes in 2008 are the direct result of Democrats shipping "illegal aliens" into the polls to vote.
In other words, they are saying somewhere between of 32% and 64% of all undocumented aliens in this nation voted illegally in 2008 and did so undetected.
What complete idiocy!
