3. This issue has been maddening

There are people out there that even when faced with new facts still refuse to believe that it wasn't some cover up. Last night, WaPo printed an article saying the same as these links you provide. I have a friend from High school who is absolutely convinced that there is some cover up.

HE writes back (bold face mine): Interesting... I have a problem with this however. It certainly is a plausible corse of events, but lets get this straight. First it was a protest, then it was we didn't know, then there was an order to stand down (not mentioned in the account) then it was a drone to collect intel before they would send in support, now it's we had troops on the ground trying to get in the whole time??? Something's rotten in Denver! As this account states it would have been better to have an armed drone sent in. Woods did call for an air support strike and was denied. He was the one with the laser. I have some knowledge of this kind of work as do other members of my family. There is a lot of conflicting info here with not enough of the important details. I have yet to read or here anything that I completely buy yet. Beck makes some interesting claims. Have you listened to what he had to say on the issue? I'll share it with you.

Evidently, Obama may go to jail and get impeached for killing glenn beck. (I won't post the garbage link here) but evidently someone wrote something on the Blaze and now Glenn beck is reporting this as news. (I'm dizzy again just writing this!) I told him I don't buy the tin foil bs that makes Alex jones look sane, and he replies:

Lol, yeah that's why said I don't buy all of it. But he does makes some interesting points that I think play into the situation. There is something to the arms dealings. Though I don't consider Obama a Traitor!!!! That's a bit ridiculous. I also understand the need for secrecy. Time will tell if the truth will be told.... I am guessing not!

The crazy is strong with this. Here, I present truth, and he provides Glenn Beck asshattery. If he weren't a guy I went to high school with and is a long time friend who I'll run into over the holidays...... oh it's just insane.

Facts really don't matter to some people. The bright to all of this is that many of my not politically caring people are even telling him that he's starting to look a little off the rails. Many of these are people I know from the town I grew up in. We all know each other... so there is that.

I give him facts, and he just doesn't want to believe them. I'm sure after tuesday, he'll stop with this nonsense. We've been friends on FB for a few years now, he knows exactly how I feel about issues. Just this past month has he decided Obama is just EVIL and let those men die in BenGhazi

After a While I get tired of him and LEt my husband play with him like a cat toy. He also contends that All politicians are the same, and part of hubby's response was:

"Saying that "all politicians lie" is like saying going 56 in a 55 is the same as going 156, that slapping someone in the face is the same as beating them to a pulp, that going $10 over your limit on your credit card is the same as going $1000 over. Most rational people know better. False equivalency is a poor substitute for a rational argument."
