I only count one sticker per car and one sign per yard. Thru most of the campaign, Romney was ahead in signs, but behind in bumper stickers. By late Oct, it was 50-50 usually with a slight Romney edge. Today, it was 3 to 1 for Obama. Either the local youth have been targeting only Romney signs or Obama is pulling ahead.
Last election our Obama signs were swiped several times until Mrs. FSogol taped them onto the siding under the 2nd floor windows. This year no one has touched any of our Obama/Kaine/Connelly signs.

(28,799 posts)but not yard signs, because the republicans around here are stealing them right and left. mine was stolen. i'll see an Obama sign on a street one day and next day it's gone.
here in the triangle area of NC obama has a slight edge in bumper stickers, usually.

(30,404 posts)People tell me they like it.
But the most notice that I get is when I wear my OBAMA hat -- I wear it everyday and where ever I go - even church.
People stop me to give a thumbs up all the time.
IMO the Hat is the key !

(8,660 posts)one of my neighbors, who i consider a friend, was so proud that she got her rmoney sign in her yard. she found out i wasn't impressed but i chose to preserve the friendship rather than proselytize.
