As a Pennsylvanian, this morning I'm wondering WTF is going on here, the new Center of the Universe:

1. Romney is making an appearance in Bucks County on Sunday, I am made to understand. As someone who lived in Bucks for only about 22 years, I can tell you that there are pockets of voters who would make the KKK/John Birch Society proud. We shall see how he draws here...the Eagles are playing Monday night so there may be a larger than usual crowd.

2. I am in fact genuinely concerned (not "concerned" as we say here at "the" DU) about Senator Casey's non-campaign. The lst time I saw someone take a Senate election for granted, she refused to attend Red Dox games and we know how well that turned out. This TeaParty Tom Smith has been running a real campaign and has commericals which asshole-types would find 'effective', and even has lawn signs! Casey has had about 2 ads which are adequate but not exactly overwhelming. Stay tuned for our results from Pennsyltucky.

3. The former President of Penn State was just indicted for covering up the crimes of Sandusky. This guy Spanier is revered here in the Commonwealth and one wonders if this is going to drift up towards Governor Corbett, who had a hand in all of this. We shall see.

I live in one of those red corners, sigh.
I recall in 2008 McCain made a last-minute campaign stop here (or tried to) and the event was cancelled due to snow.
Large parts of Bucks still have no power, maybe Mittens can appear there and tell us we don't need government.
