1. This sounds like a no-brainer

unless you have been subjected to the high pressure pitches for donations that I have during this election and in 2008. It is disgusting that it is our side harassing people and showing no understanding that many people simply don't have any extra funds. One man who called in '08 was so insistent that I carefully explained that my choice was to contribute or refill my asthma meds. He actually said the election was more important and I could get my meds the next month!! And just how was I to keep breathing in the meantime?

Sorry for the rant. Your heart is in the right place, but understand that we have some very rude and poorly trained individuals making some of the phone calls. Not all of them deserve our thanks.
