Krystal Ball commented today on the signoff piece for The Cycle that the Romney/Ryan budget

would cut FEMA funding in half. She also mentioned that the estimated cost of damage from the storm is $50B (don't know where she got this stat) and that the entire state budget for the State of NJ last year was $32B. That is just NJ and doesn't factor in all of these other states. Add to these figures the effects of fires in the west and drought (a silent disaster) and no one state has the type of bootstraps it takes to do it on its own. Just wanted to toss this out there.

Ball's father, Edward Ball, was born in West Virginia and has a Ph.D. in physics. Her mother, Rose Marie Ball, is an educator in King George County, Virginia. The name Krystal came from her father, a physicist who did his dissertation on crystals.

I enjoy listening to her - she never has, at least when I've heard her speak, play that stupid game of "horse race". I don't think she ever saw Romney had a chance and never reported that way.

I could be wrong since I don't watch the cycle but I see her on with other pundits like Ed, Lawrence and Chris and I have always liked her. She's seems reasonable.

what's that got to do with her unfortunate name?

what if there was a MSNBC pundit named Harry Balls. would you be telling me about how Harry Balls is a serious journalist and not just some cable news hack.

Good, solid liberal and intelligent woman. Only 30. She has a little girl and one on the way. I find her very relatable as I am close to her age and have two little girls of my own. Makes SE Cupp look like an idiot daily on The Cycle.

Strange isn't it because a lot of people are suffering but the real ideological issues are as clear as day for everyone to see.

Do you think Krystal Ball knew that, but failed to mention it?

Romney already has a record of cutting funds for things like FEMA, for Christ's sake, but the talking heads on the boob tube never mention it!!

Romney's record as Governor is horrible.
But you would think someone like Krystal Ball would mention that!
