Because, of course, I already did. They gave no option for "already voted." I also told them I'm an independent, since I thought it might be helpful for there to be some more indepenents for Obama & Baldwin.
Am I a bad person?

(243 posts)To me that means you are from my home state of Wisconsin. I am so happy to read your comment about voting for Dem's. I had almost lost hope for my beloved WI. Virtually everyone from my high school days are voting Republican even though they can not give me a policy or fact about Romney that makes them want to vote for him. Nor can they give me one fact or reason as to why they dislike Obama. I have been very harsh in calling them out and calling them on their lies on posts on Facebook. They hate when I disprove their posts and photo-shopped pics to the point of un-friending me. As I say to them, I got along fine without them for 30 years prior to facebook, not a whole lot lost if they un-friend me. On Wisconsin, Forward.

(45,274 posts)ever since the recall elections. Exit polls at that time showed that even though the electorate didn't support the recalls, they still favored Obama by quite a margin. Even Lyin' Ryan can't bring it in for rMoney. The further you get from Waukesha, the more despised he is among the populace.

(243 posts)Seems like all the people I went to school with from Brookfield, no matter where they have relocated favor Romney. I hope you are correct. I broke from the Rep party in '08 and voted Dem and have not turned back. I just get nervous about a repeat of 2010 when MSNBC and Dem sources had things remaining the same and the Dem complacency allowed the right to take the house and gain seats in the Senate. I am praying Obama takes it in big numbers so there can be a down-flow to the local races.

(45,274 posts)don't let yourself get excited about polls reporting crossover votes for Obama. Half of them may be your fellow-tricksters.
That's not an argument against doing it, just a caution about the consequences.
Same thing for me & the independent vote, of course.
