So the last stop on the campaign will be Iowa

"The President and First Lady will end their last 2012 campaign swing in the state that launched the President’s successful campaign four years ago before returning home to Chicago," the campaign said in a statement.

I love this; for sentimental reasons. The Prez has repeatedly thanked Iowans for betting on him in Jan. 2008. By Monday, I don't think Iowa will be that close, and I bet the campaign feels the same way. This is about storytelling and completing the journey; it's what a writer would do. An artistic decision.
