You gotta figure that there will be more women who will tell their husbands/SOs "oh sure, I'll vote for Romney," then vote Obama... than there will be the converse.
I'm sure the effect will be small, but as close as some of these races can be, I'll take all the fractional gains we can get.
I can't imagine any women saying "oh yeah, I'll vote for Obama" and then switching to Romney.

Hubby and I are in almost complete agreement as Liberals. Politics was a driving force that brought us together in the first place, when we met at a Parents Without Partners event way back in 1980...

(62 posts)Much like they bug them to go to the doctor. My husband is not all that into politics and if it weren't for me he'd probably not vote. But I bug him and make him realize how important it is. His dad was a staunch Democrat so he pretty much agrees with the Democratic policies, but just isn't that fired up about politics one way or another. I'm the only female in my small group at work and all the guys seem much like my husband in that their wives seem to be the driving force when it comes to voting and politics. So having women on your side is a good thing in politics. Not only are women reliable voters, but they get their husbands to vote too.
