We're ok my neck of the woods

No power no heat, could be another week (one of the poor towns in Western Morris county NJ) before we get power. I'm at my daughter's now. Not good for an old guy to be in 40 deg cold 24 hours a day. Cats all OK. Friends ok.

This sucks. 3 hour gas lines, fighting breaking out because some assholes think they can cut the lines , some looting, police cracking down.

Have to go PA for gas this weekend. NO power where I work either..

And a Northeaster is coming next week.

This sucks

1. I'm glad you're with your family there and are able to get around. Hope the power comes on soon!

Last time I was stuck in a power outage for a week in the cold, just above the thirties right after Thanksgiving. One night, okay. Then it just kept on going.

Many people stayed warm by driving around and going to the stores and running their engines in the parking lots all night long, LOL, and going to the drive-throughs to get hot coffee.

But it sounds like you guys are much worse off, I saw that they said NYC is running low or out of gasoline and I guess you're in the same way there.

Keep as warm as you can be and stay safe!
