I hope there were some fellow angels helping get the beautiful pup up the ladder.

(73,537 posts)looks like my newest family member -- Rocky is half-German Shepherd, half Huskie. He was born in April; weighed 12 lbs when I got him in May; and is about 85 lbs now. And he is about as curious a being as I have ever encountered -- I could see him getting himself stuck in a position like this.

(46,585 posts)In these kind of catastrophic events, I always wonder about the animals and pray when people evacuate they take their beloved critters with them. I can't even imagine leaving mine behind.
