(53,339 posts)I know there is one on the way to me, but I can't remember whether it's a decal or a magnet this time. So I get to look forward to being surprised!

(30,947 posts)I live in North Georgia in a very red county. In 2008, I had a Obama/Biden sticker on my car and was often followed by police cars for no reason but to intimidate me.

(2,679 posts)My shirt and sign arrived, and well funny is before that my stuff came the door bell rang. And so I thought it was my stuff so I open the door and said "my sign! (big smile) because the lady had a sign. But then I saw it was a Karen Castor Dental sign and I already have one of those. But the lady canvassing smiled and said she saw my sign but liked the other one better (my zomney he needs brains one for Halloween). Any way she was just checking up making sure we had what we needed, if we needed another sign, did we vote. I told her 3 of us have and the son goes tomorrow. Dental has 3 votes and will get one more from this house on friday. Same for Obama.
My Obama gear arrived 20 minutes later. The sign is now up front and the shirt is on. I am probably going to wear it everyday until the election along with my "I voted" sticker. I'll wash the shirt everyday but I am going to wear it everyday till Nov 6. It might get tricky as I live in a very red area of central fl. Don't care, I will not be intimidated!

(1,214 posts)My wife decided not to put it on the car, she is worried someone at her work will deface either the sticker or the car! It's taped to our living room window.
We live in a triplex, in a largely democratic neighborhood. One of our two immediate neighbors, who lives upstairs, is a Robme supporter (for no reason that I can figure, as he is a disabled veteran who receives, in his own words, "free meds from the government" . Anyway, he put a Romney/Ryan sign out in the yard, to the left of the steps. So, we decided to put an Obama sign up on our side of the building, to the right of the steps. He was not pleased but our sign is still standing!

(20,776 posts)after my several donations but I thought, let it go to someone who has a good place to put it! Mine would just end up in a drawer some where. Besides, this is Obama country, I have never seen a Romney sign anywhere in San Francisco, in places that I have walked.

(243 posts)Yep, we received the bumper sticker last week and then three days later we got (2) 4" in diameter magnetic signs for the car or wherever. Great surprise. In 2008, we had a big Obama magnet on our car and it was stolen. I want so badly to park in the grocery store lot here in Redneck NC watch from a distance to see what happens. If it is taken off, I would love to confront the person, make them place it back on my car and have them say out loud, vote Obama, vote Obama. That or call the police and have him/her arrested,, LMAO
