A lot of the issues aren't going to be decided by an election. In terms of the Gungeon, or Meta, or a few other hotspots, the election is sort of irrelevant.

It didn't change much after the 2008 election. It did quiet down after the 2008 primary was decided, that was more contentious than the general.

I know I'm naive but it would nice if we could address this in a more functional way than we have in the past.

No offense, LynnSin. I still chuckle when I recall that bet!

Seriously, we'll ride the high for a few days and get back to the way we were before we hit election mode.

Personally I've decided that i will spend the next 4 yrs campaigning for electoral reform , Upping penalty's for fraud developing a single fool proof voting system and ending citizens united, I'll take all the help I can get, Just because we win this doesn't mean that it should be (to borrow ann R's phrase) this hard to get an honest election in the 21st century

Do away with the Electoral College. The federal government, and only the federal government, owns all of the voting machines. Voting procedures are standardized and regulated by the federal government.

Campaign contributions are bribery and thus illegal. All campaigns are publicly financed, period, end of story.
