Anyone who doesn't understand that climate change is real and happening is a damned idiot

There is so much overwhelming information out there supporting the fact that climate change is not only real, but that we're already seeing the effects. And it's only going to get worse - much worse.

Anyone who can't see this, or who refuses to accept this is a damned idiot.

Maybe - maybe - I can get how people are skeptical about climate change or they believe this is all part of the Earth's natural cycle. Fine. They can think this is all a natural cycle, but how can anyone think that everything we have done to this planet, especially over the last century, is good for it's health. Come on. Do we really think that all of this paving, drilling, fracking, tree cutting, over developing, fossil fuel using and chemical spilling is really that healthy for the planet. Something has to give and people need to realize that we're doing too much harm.

I keep hearing that Sandy is a "once in a century storm." No, she's not. She's a trend setter. You can bet on it.

wiping out perfectly healthy, perfectly adapted species. killing and trashing parts of the ocean. leveling enormous forests without ever knowing how many millions of interesting, beautiful plants and animals lived there.

That this is happening right after the century where my species went from 1 to 7 billion gives me sadness and shame. and fear.

There are a lot of hair splitters out there. It's not rocket science if you live on the East Coast and lived through Irene, I was there in Vermont last year, or NYC now. These are unprecedented storms, at a minimum the intensity is increased by climate changes, and even the expert had to grudgingly admit this is true.

I told her to go outside and look around. From everything you can see with the naked eye, common sense tell you the earth is flat!
