Retailer pressures workers to take anti-Obama civics courseA program linked to Americans for Prosperity has been spoon-feeding propaganda to Menards employees
By Adele M. Stan, Alternet
If you live in the Midwest and youre working on a home-improvement project, youre as likely to do your shopping at a Menards store as at a Lowes or Home Depot. With 270 stores and 40,000 employees, Menards is the third-largest home-improvement chain in the U.S., and one of the largest privately held corporations in the country. But Menards stores sell more than just lumber and building supplies; their employees are sold a bill of goods in the form of right-wing ideology.

I'll never set foot in their store again. I hope this info gets spread far and wide. These fascist employers need to be stopped.

(161 posts)...when I was scanning for AM radio stations in the car one day and heard that they were 'proud sponsers' of the Rush Limbaugh Show.
That's all it took for me to stop doing business with them.
But, re-education camps for employees, that's nothing short of Maoism.
