Retailer pressures workers to take anti-Obama “civics course”

Retailer pressures workers to take anti-Obama “civics course”

A program linked to Americans for Prosperity has been spoon-feeding propaganda to Menards employees
By Adele M. Stan, Alternet

If you live in the Midwest and you’re working on a home-improvement project, you’re as likely to do your shopping at a Menards store as at a Lowe’s or Home Depot. With 270 stores and 40,000 employees, Menards is the third-largest home-improvement chain in the U.S., and one of the largest privately held corporations in the country. But Menards stores sell more than just lumber and building supplies; their employees are sold a bill of goods in the form of right-wing ideology.

I loved the store but I did not know they were teabag Koch suckers.

I'll never set foot in their store again. I hope this info gets spread far and wide. These fascist employers need to be stopped.

It really pissed me off when they drove the local Lowe's into closing up.

...when I was scanning for AM radio stations in the car one day and heard that they were 'proud sponsers' of the Rush Limbaugh Show.

That's all it took for me to stop doing business with them.

But, re-education camps for employees, that's nothing short of Maoism.

but stopped going there a couple of years ago when I learned that billionare Menard was one of the main financial backers/creators of the Tea Party and all the anti-union crap up in Wisconsin.
