they'd gladly sell any and all parts of this country to the highest bidder. how american is it to gut an american company, raid it and sell it off to any foreign entity, while laying off american workers?

they love mammon more than the country. how many wealthy sociopaths do you see, gladly increasing their taxes for the sake of the infrastructure? how many wealthy did you see willing to sacrifice when little boots started his bogus wars? no, they were willing to make massive profits off of it, but paying more during war, nope.

DUers right there with you and know exactly what the OP is referring to. What irritates me is when people come in and snark at the OP (although I've probably done that, too). If you just take a few minutes and as more people post, you can get an idea of what's going on. And, one can just ask, why scold? When somebody posts an OP like this, it's usually a knee jerk reaction, like shouting it at the TV. Totally understandable, IMO.

And congrats on your 25,000th post!

Thu Nov 1, 2012, 11:08 AM

Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead with the Obama bashing and trashing. One would think with the President having so many opportunities to appear (and be genuine about it) about as Presidential as it gets, that Romney would try rise above the animosity of the pre-storm Campaign mode. With Christie giving the President kudos for how he has handled the crisis and all but giving him a wet kiss, one might wonder if Romney would tone down some of his attacks. But no, he is back on the attack, full bore.

Romney is a desperate man and the rats may be fleeing his ship of fools. Some are starting to talk about Obama's inevitable re-election and others spinning pure fiction to try to make these next 5 days just go by faster so the end can come quickly. I don't know if they have Romney in a bubble so he is clueless to what the numbers are showing or if he is not reachable. He may have deluded himself and believes his own hype. In any case, it is pathetic and sad that even in the aftermath of the disaster, Mitt can't bring himself to just boil his message down to WHAT HE WILL DO WITH DETAILS, instead of just continuing to lie about Obama in heated rhetoric and distortions.
