They may be some of the last affected, but when our Mother swats us down to knock some of the arrogance from us, the money in your bank account won't matter.

(573 posts)shows just how many around here are. Wife was born in the state, and I've been here for 45 years, but we still have people come up to us and say the weather hasn't changed here.
When we were children, the summer temps rarely got above 75, every afternoon between 1:00 and 4:00 PM there would be a rain shower come over the mountains and cool things off. Tornadoes were unheard of until you got to the Kansas border.
We have over the past few years seen Tornadoes all around us, 90+ in April and a serious drought.
"But we don't have any climate change, That's the talk of crazy liberals!"
Yeah, right.
