2. Not a bromance. Two men in which doing the right thing was politically beneficial for both.

Both needed to show a strong response to the storm in order to survive politically. And both probably care too, though I'd put more money on one than the other.

Our president is an affable, engaging, and likable guy. It's in his nature to inspire and bring out the best in the folks he interacts with.

President Obama is doing his job, and doing it well. There isn't much more to it beyond that.
