YES!!! It Happened Again (sort of)

You might know how I love it when a previously rightie friend 'flips' as a result of a Facebook fight...well I love it. It's never the rightie that I am engaging with, it's *always* someone not participating who read the comments.

Well tonight, a previously apolitical friend came out SWINGING. Oh man it was awesome. Just as the rightie was trying to bully me about the President and Libya and abortion and the storm, he told the rightie that he's "ignored so much of your uninformed thinly couched uneducated racist drivel - but the few times she (me) commented were too much for you I guess. She stands her ground and you call everyone names. Thank you for making my decision even easier than it was before."

It. was. *AWESOME*. I wish I could like his comment like 5,000 times.

Especially when we are being bullied by loud and ill-informed jerks. Not that we can't defend ourselves but it sure is nice to have an ally in a heated discussion.

and I am so passionate that I really get pretty emotional when it gets heated. And it always seems to get heated at the *exact* same time I get *busy*.

There was no need to 'ring the bell' tonight, the stuff was old. But that friend was awesome.
