negative anti Obama ads. Wasn't seeing them until the yesterday and today. Now it's all I'm seeing. I'm seeing them because of PA, I'm in Delaware. I don't know how you guys in Ohio, FL, etc are doing it. I would have poked my ears and eyeballs out with a knife by now.

(20,043 posts)but we were spared this time Robme wasn't advertising, until now.
We were getting the local races, but that's all--that's enough.

(5,158 posts)I've pretty much avoided watching much TV lately, all because of the negative attack ads against Obama. Seeing three or four Rmoney/Repuke ads in a row made me want to puke. Thank God it'll all be over in less than a week.

(20,043 posts)it has to be horrible. I'd just record everything and when I did watch live tv, I'd mute all the commercials. There should be a limit on how many you can put on in one day.

(5,158 posts)saying "I'm Mitt Romney, and I approved this message" one more time I swear I'm going to throw something at my TV. I think I'll take your advice and mute next time a Rmoney ad appears.

(10,642 posts)if you wanted to see all the political ads that have been shown in Ohio so far, you would have to watch TV 24 hrs. a day for 80 days!

(3,075 posts)I live in Ohio. they run back to back here. TV and radio. I was turning the radio off, but now I just tune them out. I have to say, the radio station I listen to in my car is running WAY more Romney ads than Obama ads. and odd because it's a rock station.

(35,337 posts)a half dozen Romney ads. They have been running negative ads about Sherrod Brown all year.
Our Congressman Bill Johnson (R) has been making robocalls on taxpayer money about how him and Paul Ryan are going to save SS and Medicare for two full years now.

(417 posts)Anti Obama Ad, Pro Romney Ad, Pro Marriage Amendment Ad, Amy Klobuchar ad (technically a Dem, but she has SO many damn ads, they're starting to drive me batty)
I'm also seeing a lot of Ads from Wisconsin Republicans. I really wish they would go away, I can barely deal with ours.

(1,369 posts)What a relief it was from all the ads we've had to endure in Colorado! I only saw a couple of ads for and against another casino and one by some guy running as an Independent. Back in CO now and the ads are worse than they were before I left.
BTW, I took 5 mail-in ballots for Obama (4 family members and 1 friend) to my voting location late this afternoon. Just a few people voting there.
