Something occurred to me about electronic voter fraud - maybe a good thing

I think it's really possible that electronic vote-count fraud was used in the 2000 and 2004 elections. But here is the thing: In 2000, it was probably a new thing that nobody took seriously till it was too late. In 2004, there was a Republican in the White House.

In 2012, we have a Democrat in the White House with control over the full range of surveillance capabilities of the National Security Agency. We also have, apparently, Anonymous on the case.

I am not saying they won't try to steal this election. But, just perhaps, they will be restrained by what they can actually get away with.

Thoughts?

to use the NSA to spy on Americans?

Anonymous is one thing, using the NSA is something else altogether.

They're doing not at the behest of the President, but for the purposes of the MIC.

I personally could not support the idea of the President using the NSA to spy on Americans for political gain, but that's just me.

The FBI or the DOJ, however, could investigate to insure the votes are counted accurately. And being directed to wouldn't be for personal political gain, but to insure fair elections.

I don't think they can pass federal laws pertaining to the conduct of state elections........
