(6,096 posts)It is obvious that Governor Christie has a huge heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what counts. You can tell he has not gotten much sleep AND you can tell he loves his state AND his people. Just as you can tell the same thing about Obama loving his country and HIS PEOPLE.

(12,704 posts)two politicians are authentically concerned and engaged in handling the aftermath, I don't think they should be mocked. Save the mocking for inept, uncaring, disengaged asswipes like Rmoney. When I saw the photo of Christie and Obama on the Tarmac, I saw two men clearly affected by what was confronting them. IMHO Christie appears devestated and clearly seems to be looking to Obama for not just financial but moral support.
In terms of both their responses to this disaster respect is due.

It is time to cut this junk with the weight jokes!!! If you all have NEVER EVER had a weight problem...OR SOMEONE IN YOUR family has never ever had a weight problem...then go for it..
otherwise..just shut up
and enjoy two men who are making a combined JOINT EFFORT to help save lives....and who can both possibly begin to heal the humongous divide between democrats and republicans....
we have to BEGIN SOMEWHERE...

(9,314 posts)this continual mocking of Christie is juvenile and just plain nasty. I've never agreed or engaged in it and it is uncalled for even more right now than ever.
Grow up people.
