Should I sign the "Severance and Release Agreement" where we agree to not talk shit about each other? Severance is good through 2012 w/ medical. Was totally thrown under a bus but that's beside the point from a legal standpoint.

Good luck!

(131,193 posts)but Culpeper County Democrats canvassing results
from Wayne Powell's campaign: twice as many respondents say they are voting for Powell as for Cantor. If that translates to actual votes, we'll have a winning candidate! The sample includes moderate voters from both parties plus independents. There are many more strong Republicans in our district, though, so we have a lot more work to do to get Wayne elected. Keep up the good work this weekend and until November 6!

Sounds good to me! (Just one county, but major.)
Thanks for asking!

notion that you left voluntarily and/or as a result of misconduct as it could interfere with an unemployment claim?
Best of luck to you.

(103,856 posts)Check on the unemployment insurance before you sign anything.. and get what THEY tell you..IN WRITING..
Just make yourself "unavailable" to your former boss..screen calls..tell them you are going out of town..whatever.. just don't sign anything until you know you are not signing away benefits due you..

PS, sympathies for the bad news. Don't forget to file for unemployment asap. It takes forever for it to kick in, according to my friend who keeps getting fired (and somehow surviving).
