...that First Amendment protections only apply to "explicitly political" speech (if it isn't explicitly political, the government can censor it) and, even then, only to political speech that isn't a "threat" to the country (any guess who gets to decide?).

(he fired Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox in the Saturday Night Massacre during Watergate, just to make myself clear) is more ancient than dirt and will not be going onto the SCOTUS. There are plenty of much younger judges who are just as evil to their core.

Though Bork is one brutally evil bastard.

They took him apart on the right to privacy and it worked. Convinced enough Repubs on the Judiciary Committee to vote against Bork.
One of the best things Biden ever did.
