Oh Joe Please

Is it me or has the Morning Joe show turned into a Joe Scarborough diatribe on why Republicans should go back to the pristine Party of Ronald Reagan and the Party of 1964? You know, the one that was resurrected from the political trash heap when Nixon embraced the racists, former Democrats who left the Democratic Party because Democrats supported the Voting Rights and Civil Rights Acts of 1964. Yes, let's bring that Party back to power. Is there a morning show on TV where the commentators are actually Democrats who can talk about the Democratic Party?

... interesting that the Democrats threw them out of the party quite effectively during JFK/LBJ (a gamble, but a wise move), and Nixon welcomed them. I would also say that Nixon welcomed them in a very sneaky way, with winks and nods. Reagan never had any like for them, personally, but he certainly took their votes.

For example, he said today Lou Dobbs was a respected and sober person until Trump ran for President.

I recall Lou Dobbs being a crank for at least 20 years. I know a lot of the "dittoheads" I worked with loved them some Lou Dobbs.
