Middle class Republicons tell me I'm just jealous when I say the top tax rates on rich need to go way up. Oh yeah?

1. Their taxes are now about 1/3rd what they were in the 1940's and 50's when the economy and employment rate was much better than now.

2. Low taxes on the rich encourage them to drain corporate operating capital for huge salaries which is bad for the company's growth and hiring new JOBS!

3. Their tax cut money spoils go into either or all:

I. Swiss bank accounts......Trillions in offshore accounts now.

II.risky derivative hedge fund bubbles which destabilize the economy when they crash-----see 1929 and 2008 crashes.


III. into the pockets of their favorite Republicon politician/lobbyist to get MORE tax breaks or less regulations.

How does all that help the US economy?

4. Tax cuts for the rich are paid for by cutting YOUR BENEFITS OR GOVT SERVICES.

OR by BORROWING more money which is the main reason the national debt has gone from $1 trillion in 1980 when the tax cuts started to $15 Trillion now.

12. Your #2 is the opposite of the reality, I believe.

Taxes on the rich mean a company has to be paying more to offer the same amount of enducement, and so spend more on wages for the rich, not less.

#3 is also dubious, to say the least, but #1 and #4 look about right.
