What do you think will be your fondest memory of Election Night?

Of course I will revel in the unbridled joy emanating from Chicago, but it turns out I'm not a very nice person. You see, what I can't fucking wait to witness is Queen Ann standing behind her husband as he concedes. With lips a-tremble and tears coursing down her cheeks, that arrogant, pampered, elitist twit is going to come face-to-face with the stark realization that the American people have completely rejected the lying sack of shit she married. It will slowly sink in that it is NOT "their turn" and they are NOT entitled to the White House because they're fucking rich! She will have to face the cold, hard truth that the American people don't like her or her smirking ass-wipe of a husband.
That's going to sting like a bitch.

Watching Annie's sneering face after it's over and knowing that we'll probably never see it, again.

Asking repeatedly, "Freeperswamp is still down? Did Rimjob shoot the hamster or the Commodore 64?"

Cheering the President and Vice President as they stride in front of the cameras for their victory speeches.

Celebrating with friends and family at each of the above moments.

I always look forward to meeting interesting people. Although I can't discuss politics with them, I just enjoy people.

Last election I met a black genleman in his 90s who was a veteran of WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. Imagine that. When he joined the military it was segregated, and he experienced all the changes through the 60s. I would love to spend some more time talking to him.

It is also a pleasure to meet naturalized immigrants who are voting for the first time. The proudly show their citizenship documentation, even though they don't have to. It makes me that much more aware of the priviledge of the right to vote, and that much more angry at those who would abuse it.

The downside of working at the polls is that I am isolated from the news broadcasts. Hopefully, at about 10 pm I will be coming home to some very good news.

His sweet little face all puckered and quiet, the owl glasses revealing reddened, puffy eyes. My laughter as he tells us that he had predicted this from the beginning... that Obama was actually his first choice, mitt never fully gaining his respect and backing. snort. His attempt at "I told you so's" (as Joe has never been wrong).

I might actually post something snarky on a couple of the anti-Obama Facebook pages. Lovely (not) people at Obama makes me puke and Obama insults my intelligence will have to suck it up and squirm for the next 4 years.

I think I'm voting against those twits as much as I am voting for Obama.

continuing and slowly increasing through the night....at 2:00 AM Michele Bachmann at Teabagger Central giving her concession speech...poor blubbery Marcus sobbing.

Then...what? Powell 57% Cantor 43% 97% precincts in? Oh my gawd....wonderful

Wisconsin ...what? Ryan 40% Zerban 60% (Hey, it's MY fantasy, o.k?) Ryan refuses to concede.......demands a recount...becomes a laughing stock.... and ends up being a blogger at Brietbart (same thing).

23. Florida

Watching Obama win Florida and Virginia, and then listening to Chuck Todd say "Well, if Romney wins Michigan, California, and Ohio he can still win this thing." And later, as Obama is up in Ohio, Chuck saying "well with 99 percent of the precincts reporting Obama is only up by 8000 votes, so until we hear from Only Two People Voting There County this is still a very close race and still too close to call." And of course, watching as the Republican loons on all the message boards start begging Obama to build more infrastructure...so they'll have bridges to live under.

in the United States Senate on Tuesday November 6. Even a lot of us who support her thought it couldn't be done, and it looks likes its going to happen. I can't wait to hear the joy in her voice and in the crowd that night as she accepts that office and as her successor Marc Pocan accepts her Congressional seat.

if he loses (which he probably won't but it's nowhere near guaranteed, contrary to what some DUers seem to think).

If he wins (which will probably happen), it will be the moment he is projected to get 270 EVs.
