(32,077 posts)If she is 76 she was born in 1946 -- a year after WW II ended and more than 2 years after the siege was lifted.

(51,308 posts)Both my parents lived through WWII. Mom was born two months after Queen Elizabeth, so 18 when the war ended. Died at 90 several years ago.
Dad was four years younger, lived through the Blitz, died in 2012 at 83.
So that headline raised my eyebrows a bit.
