Is the Internet crashing?

According to the Internet Traffic Report, which "monitors the flow of data around the world," we're in the midst of some kind of web apocalypse, with major network hubs across the continent completely dead—33% of all packets, the little bites of data that comprise all action on the Internet, are getting lost in transmission. This is also, perhaps not coincidentally, the same day Tumblr, Google, and Dropbox have all either gone down or reported outages, as The Next Web points out.

.....about 6 times this morning. I thought it it was me, so I re-downloaded my version of their latest version, but it did no good at all. Still keeps crashing.

I wonder if there could be increased sun spot activity, or perhaps it's all a republican plot?

Only for Freak Republic heh heh. I tried to see what they were saying during the debates and the site was down or very s l o w, while I had DU in another tab and it worked perfectly and was fast each debate.

I think this is just ribjob's way of fleecing his members with an "I need more money to keep everyone knee deep in hate so if you don't donate, this is what will happen."

confirmation of YouTube issues. I Googled a phrase and got the YouTube video link I was expecting to see. However, whenever I click a link from Google going to YouTube all I get is a page full of code-like jibberish. One a side note, looks like changes are being made to the comments section of YouTube - about time.

but I've gotten a lot of 'page not found' 'file not found' etc type messages and slow loading sites over the last 3 days. But then again I'm usually looking up sketchy and low-brow content.
