In 2010, they ran on jobs, and when the GOP took the house, they focused on Social issues.

If Romney wins, his focus will be on gutting the government regardless of the impact on jobs or the economy.

But, the sheer brilliance of Bill Clinton is his capacity to take even the most complex subject and break it down into language that every day people can understand, even the poorly educated. The problem in politics since Clinton is that republicans are simply better at messaging than democrats, at least until the tea-fucks came along. Tea-fucks have changed the dynamics, giving a reprieve to democrats.

The messaging advantage of the GOP was not always the case. Clinton beat republicans ragged with messaging. Johnson kicked republicans a new asshole, and was brought down only by members of his own party. FDR and Truman were the kings of messaging, giving us terms like Social Security and an Integrated Armed Forces that are at once short and understandable, while being brilliantly to the point.

I like to joke that secularism advanced in the twentieth century because people don't need Satan when they live in the time of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Idi Amin, Ceausescu, Milosevic and other paragons of evil.

Some may argue that Wall Street banksters don't belong in that category because they don't directly kill their victims. Stalin did not directly kill most of his victims, either; he caused them to starve to death because of the messy way he went about collectivizing farms. Today, people are going hungry because banksters in America and Europe made loans that they knew were bad ones to nations like Ireland, Spain and Greece, and now leave the common people of these countries to pay the price with austerity regimes that won't bring prosperity back to their nations.

I think it is unfortunate that Stalin died in his bed.

While there is always some crossover, just looking at the Obama concentrations underscores this.

What you are witnessing is the last true hoorah of elderly and middle aged haters. The elderly will be dead soon and the middle aged haters will be swamped by younger people that grew up with diversity as a part of their lives.

Those were very turbulent times.

If those lunatics in the GOP don't moderate soon, I expect the 60s to look like child's play.

This is going to get very ugly and there isn't a need for it.

Asshole people on a power trip.
