School May Be Liable for Yeast Infection Bullying

School May Be Liable for Yeast Infection Bullying

SCRANTON, Pa. (CN) - A girl who says she became suicidal as bullies ridiculed her yeast infection with scratching sounds can sue the Scranton School District, a federal judge ruled.

O.P. was a South Scranton seventh grader "in her 5th period reading class on an October morning in 2009 when she heard the sound that would change her life forever," according to a suit she and her parents filed this time last year.

Nine of O.P.'s female classmates plagued O.P. in and out of the classroom by making a noise that "sounded like 'ch-ch.'"

"The once popular 'A' student, basketball player, yearbook editor and cheerleader" fell into a deep depression after "her former friends became her tormentors" and used her "private female medical condition" as a "weapon" to harass her, according to the suit.

O.P. says her tormentors had picked up on the fact that she had developed an uncomfortable yeast infection that caused her to "discreetly scratch[] her genital area."

Kids can be cruel. Fuck it, adults can be just as cruel, but it seems to hurt more when you're a kid. I was the "wedgie-du-jour" in the jr. high locker room. I'd kick the shit out of those assholes now.

That's so NOT the case now. I don't care how big a guy is, if he disrespects my wife I'm going to get in his face about it. What he won't know is that she's a 3rd degree black belt (under 4' 11" and all of 95 lbs) who can kick the shit out of damn near everyone except her grand master. They always back down just because I show confidence. I never did that when I was a kid.

So she hangs back and lets me do the "asshole guy" thing. So far she hasn't had to get involved (well, since my eldest was in infant 20 years ago) and my attitude takes care of things. But at least I know I have backup. I sure as hell wouldn't want to fight her!!!

She was once popular, but for some reason there went a vicious rumor around that she put frozen hot dogs in her vagina. Some girls SWORE they saw her do it, and several knew someone who knew that she did it. It was the insistence of a few mean girls that absolutely, it's TRUE that she masturbates frozen hot dogs. She just could not live it down.

Back then, everybody seemed to think it was true. But now I am an adult, and I have the knowledge to say it's kind of unrealistic to masturbate with a frozen hot dog.

More likely, she kissed another girl's boyfriend or somehow pissed someone off enough to spread a nasty, nasty, pervasive rumor.

upper-class girls were bullying her and spreading sexual rumors about her.

Why? Because the supposed boyfriend of one of the cheerleaders had taken her out on a couple of dates.

So, the girls decided that they would ruin my sister's life to "get even".

It was horrible for her! And, it was at a Catholic high school, the same one I had attended.

I thought we had outgrown the "mean girl" phase when I was there, but apparently that wasn't true later.

at my Catholic High School because one of their supposed boyfriends asked me on a date. I went on in the bathroom, and sneered at all of them. I pretty much laid it on the line that if somebody wants to ask another person on a date, it's not that person's fault - the supposed girlfriend should figure out why her boyfriend is shopping around.

The irony here is that I'm a lesbian, and knew I was even then LOL. They were certainly barking up the wrong tree, but of course, I didn't tell them that. They certainly didn't beat me up, though, because the "girlfriend" was pretty damn ashamed by the time I got through telling her ass off.

It was the standard line "we walked in on her doing it!!!" In any case I always doubted it would feel pleasant, maybe you'd get freezer burn or something.

But it was so outrageous, boys and girls alike harrassed her about it. The boys took the joke and ran with it! She got frozen hot dogs thrown at her. Her name became synonymous with frozen-hot-dogs-shoved-in-vagina. 7th grade.
