Sununu on CNN just said Colin Powell is voting for Obama 'cause they're the same race

On the Piers Morgan show, Piers asked Sununu what he thought of the Colin Powell endorsement of Obama because of his foreign policy, etc. Sununu said, well, Colin may be endorsing him for that, or it may be for some other reason.

To his credit, Piers asked, "What reason would that be?"

Sununu (paraphrasing): Well, it wouldn't be unusual for him to endorse someone of the same race. I applaud Colin Powell for supporting someone of his race, that he's proud has become President.


Seriously. I paraphrased, but that was the gist of it. Amazing. He said on national TV that Colin Powell is endorsing Obama because they're both Af. American. Disgusting.
