"I wish my moderate Republican friends would simply be honest.

They all say they’re voting for Romney because of his economic policies (tenuous and ill-formed as they are), and that they disagree with him on gay rights. Fine. Then look me in the eye, speak with a level clear voice, and say, 'My taxes and take-home pay mean more than your fundamental civil rights, the sanctity of your marriage, your right to visit an ailing spouse in the hospital, your dignity as a citizen of this country, your healthcare, your right to inherit, the mental welfare and emotional well-being of your youth, and your very personhood.' It’s like voting for George Wallace during the Civil Rights movements, and apologizing for his racism. You’re still complicit. You’re still perpetuating anti-gay legislation and cultural homophobia. You don’t get to walk away clean, because you say you 'disagree' with your candidate on these issues." - Pulitzer and Tony winning playwright Doug Wright, in a message now going viral on Facebook.

Whenever you ask Mittens voters what his plans are they don't know them.

They're vote is simply for the white guy.

....there's a white guy I heard at a party over a year ago who just plain said it outright what these people think.

"What does a "ni**er" know about a job, much less creating them?"

And THAT is why they are voting for the white guy.

It doesn't matter which one, as long as HE is white.

This idiot couldn't even tell me if Bush was a Republican or a Democrat,...and couldn't remember who was president before that and never heard of McCain.

But by damn he's gonna vote this time.

There's a lot of people who woke up one morning and discovered the president was black and said, "How did that happen?" and then discovered Glenn Beck and heard about ACORN and the New Black Panther party and they really believe Obama stole the election.

Show them this:

And they say it was all black people in that stadium and they think it is their duty as an American to vote this time.

than they realize. Mittens plans on RAISING their taxes, not lowering them. The one who lowered their taxes is his opponent, President Obama. But they just parrot the propaganda they have been fed.

Some time ask them just what in Rmoney's plan specifies that their taxes will be lowered. Not his words, his actual plan, and that of his VP choice.. Because we all know just what his words are worth.

So their actual truth would be:

'My taxes and take-home pay mean LESS TO ME than MY ALLOWING YOUR fundamental civil rights, the sanctity of your marriage, your right to visit an ailing spouse in the hospital, your dignity as a citizen of this country, your healthcare, your right to inherit, the mental welfare and emotional well-being of your youth, and your very personhood, TO BE DENIED.

I can't believe that anybody making less than $250,000 is voting for Romney for purely logical reasons. And I believe that anybody voting for him who's making more than $250,000 is doing so for purely selfish reasons. He is so empty, so nonexistent that there's nothing to vote for him for.

The ones who are from large Catholic families and have siblings, cousins, neices, nephews, aunts, uncles who are gay. They need to seriously examine what they support when they vote for people like Romney/Ryan and how they directly hurt people that they love dearly.

Every time you get a response like that from a Republican, remind them that even if they are voting for Romney's economic policies (Huh?), they are giving tacit approval to the GOP"s anti-gay, anti-women, anti-minority and pro-theocracy policies.

Ask them if any economic policies could justify the endorsement of the continued hateful platform of the Republicans?

Wish I knew the syntax, whatever it's called, to the mathematical symbol for 'unequal'. That would make a nice algebraic equation, even fit for a bumper sticker.

But then I'd want to fit 'reality', 'honor', 'fairness', 'compassion', 'the American Way' and a whole slew of other principles/descriptives in there

they think they can buy anything and everything with a few $$$'s.

GW did it by sending out "tax rebate" checks to everyone. And r0mney is trying to get people to look the other way by promising a land of golden honey and riches if he is elected. Selling your soul to the devil never works out well for anyone - with the possible exception of the devil.
