(28,876 posts)Another question, those who have voted early and consider themselves "done" with the election, do they simply hang up? Particularly if the question asks, "how WILL you vote on Nov. 6?" How does someone who has already voted answer that question in a robopoll?

(10,942 posts)Registered voters are voters that vote in some elections. I argued a few days back that in an election of this magnitude, for the vote on November 6th, there is no difference. Registered voters will show up to vote. BTW, I am a registered voter because I had a pattern of sitting out local races and some state races before the 2010 midterms. I have not missed voting in a Presidential election or for Governor of the state that I lived in since I turned 18.

The occasional, votes every four years, is just registered.
Every pollster methodology I'm familiar with if you answer you already voted that's instant inclusion in the LV model.
