Axl Rose Tells 'Kimmel' He 'Leans Obama' But Won't Vote

Thanks for nothing, Axl

Axl Rose made a very rare TV appearance last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The Guns N' Roses frontman didn't perform, but he did chat about hitchhiking to Los Angeles when he was 19, working at Tower Video during his early days in Los Angeles, his band's upcoming Las Vegas residency and singing with Neil Young at last week's Bridge School Benefit.

Rose also took a few questions from Twitter and revealed that he "leans Democrat and leans Obama," although he has no plans to vote because California is such an overwhelmingly blue state.

Kimmel repeatedly mocked Rose for his tendency to show up hours late for concerts. "You're right on time," he said after Rose first walked in. "It's unbelievable." He later held up a photo of an Oscar Wilde quote that supposedly hangs in Rose's house: "Punctuality is the thief of time."

I'm not saying he's become irrelevant, but my teenage grandkids have never heard of him. They'd probably give him a listen, but they don't have a cassette player.

Welcome to the Jungle is the most overplayed song at sporting events. Last weekend I flipped channels between two different NFL games and heard the song being played during timeouts for both games within minutes of changing channels.

holy cow.

you don't even know which state you live in. but your are extremely confident in being wrong. wow.

what is wrong with you in discouraging a legitimate voting method based on a lie?

All votes legally cast in California are counted, regardless of whether they were cast at the polling place or submitted through the vote by mail process. It may take a little longer to incorporate all of the vote by mail votes into the final election results, but they are all counted.

stop misleading people.

and your registrar wasn't lying. they were referring to what gets counted and when.

the final vote tallies include all votes.

Consistent in that he's so predictably unpredictable.

Certainly, according to everyone who knows him, he's difficult in his nature. Personally, I'm not surprised that his unwarranted ego forbids him from voting someone else into office.

Maybe he'll be busy working on "Chinese Democracy" that day. Or washing his hair.

Even after all his success he still can't come to terms with his past and takes it out on others. The man needs help, and the first step is admitting that.
